Type of Exercise

When you have low back pain, the pain can also limit your movement. So if you choose an exercise machine, consider your mobility.

If you have limited mobility or if your back hurts too much, I recommend using a cardio machine. These machines simply involve moving your body in a rhythmic fashion, usually with controlled resistance.

If the pain in your back is tolerable, try strength or bodyweight exercises. You can build more strength with strength training equipment or flexibility with bodyweight exercises.
